Corrections, disputes and removals
SG Locksmith Guide pulls business details from public sources and runs Google reviews through a single, fixed scoring system applied equally to every locksmith listed here. Listing your business costs nothing, and paying money cannot shift your score or rank. This page explains how to ask for a correction, challenge your score, or request removal of your listing. Requesting a correction
Corrections are for factual fields: your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services offered. To correct a field, send us the right value along with proof of it. That proof might be your website, your Google Business Profile, a government license, or a recent utility bill. Once we verify the correction against your evidence, we update your listing. That corrected data stays in place through all future data refreshes, so you will not see the old information reappear.
Disputing your score
Scores are computed, never hand-edited by us. If you believe your score is wrong, you are claiming that the input data itself is wrong: the listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews are attributed to you incorrectly, or a summary of those reviews misstates what people actually wrote. A dispute is not a request for a higher number. When you dispute, we re-check the sources and rebuild your listing from scratch. If we find a data error, we fix it and your score updates accordingly. If the data is correct, your score remains the same.
Requesting removal
Listings are removed when the business is permanently closed, the listing is a duplicate of another entry, or the business falls outside this directory's scope. If your listing is accurate and in scope, a removal request will be declined, and we will tell you why plainly. Every month we re-verify all listings and automatically remove ones for closed businesses.

How quickly we respond
Every request receives an acknowledgment within 5 business days. Removals we confirm are actioned within 7 days. When we decline a request, we give you the reason.
