About this directory
What this directory is
SG Locksmith Guide is an independent directory covering 185 locksmith businesses across Singapore. It exists for homeowners, tenants, and property managers who need to find a locksmith quickly and want some sense of who is actually reliable before they pick up the phone. Instead of asking you to sort through scattered reviews on your own, we pull public business data and synthesise what recent Google reviews are saying, then organise it into one comparable format per listing.
We do not republish review text. What you’ll see on each listing is our own summary of the sentiment and signals behind the public rating, with a link out to the business’s Google listing if you want to read the original reviews yourself.
How listings get here and how they’re ranked
Every locksmith on this site is ranked using a published rubric applied to the data we collect, covering things like response consistency, review sentiment, and how current the business’s public information is. You can read the full breakdown on our methodology page. Rankings are earned from that data. They are not for sale, and nothing about a paid placement can move a business up or down the list.
A business that finds an error in its own listing, wrong phone number, outdated address, incorrect service area, can ask us to correct it. What it cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the rankings. That separation is deliberate: facts are correctable, earned standing is not.
Sponsorship, clearly separated
Some listings on this site are sponsored. When that’s the case, they are labelled “Sponsored” and displayed in their own section, separate from the earned rankings. A sponsorship never changes where a business lands in the ranked list.
It’s also fair to say plainly what this site does beyond publishing rankings: SG Locksmith Guide generates enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with a locksmith, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for that. Our quote page discloses this in more detail. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings, full stop.
Who’s behind it
This directory is published by SG Homee Guides, founded in 2025. The company’s founder, Sam Lee, spent 10 years working across Singapore’s home service trades, including air conditioning, plumbing, renovation, and locksmith work, before starting SG Homee Guides to help homeowners find contractors worth calling. Listings are built from published review data and public business records, and a contractor’s ranking has to be earned through its actual track record rather than bought.
Sam Lee also serves as Managing Editor, overseeing how the rankings are maintained and kept accurate. All contractor data across the directory is rechecked monthly, and each listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see when it was last confirmed rather than guess.
You can find more about the publisher at sghomee.com, or reach Sam Lee directly at sam@sghomee.com with corrections, questions, or feedback on any listing.

FAQ
- Does SG Locksmith Guide write the reviews shown on listings?
- No. We synthesise sentiment from public Google reviews into our own summary and link out to the original Google listing. We do not republish review text.
- Can a locksmith business pay to rank higher?
- No. Rankings come from a published rubric applied to data we collect. Sponsorship is labelled separately and never changes a business's earned ranking.
- Can a business correct its listing?
- Yes, businesses can request corrections to factual details like address, phone number, or services offered. They cannot change their own score, sentiment summary, or ranking.
- What happens when I ask to be matched with a locksmith?
- We pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. This is disclosed on our quote page and has no effect on rankings.
- How often is the data updated?
- The directory is refreshed monthly, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see how current it is.
